Project #1 of 26, Part 2

Crocheted Mary Jane baby Booties

Its quick and easy and thats what I like.  I have included the pattern below so you can do this at home too!

The finished Product!

The Pattern
Row 1:  Ch 2, work 5 sc in 2nd from hool, sl st to first sc to form circle, ch1 for turning.(5 sts)
Row 2:  Work 2 sc into each st, sl st to turning ch, ch 2 for turning (10 sts)
Row 3:  Work 1 hdc into next st, work 2 hdc in next st, now repeat to end, sl st to turning ch, and ch 2. (15 sts)
Row 4:  hdc each st to end, sl st to previous round turning ch, ch2 and turn. (15 sts)
Row 5:  12 hdc, then leave remaining sts unworked, ch 2 and turn.
Row 6:  hdc each st to end(12 sts)
Now ch 4 for strap, attach ch to other side with sl st, ch2 and turn
Row 7: hdc each sts going across the strap, then continue hdc in each st to end, ch2 and turn (15 sts)
Row 8:  12 hdc, leave remaining unworked.  Strap is done.  Ch 2 and turn (12 sts)
Row 9:  hdc each st to end, ch 2 and turn
Row 10-13:  I add a st to the end of these to row to make the heel a bit longer so it stays on the foot, but you don't have to. You can just hdc each st to end llike Row 9 make each row 12 sts.
At end of Row 13, cut off yarn leaving 10" inches for tail for whip stitching back seam.
Now, whip stitch heel and you're done!

Happy crocheting!
